I really should do more of this…

Why is it that when I revisit a soothing task like hand quilting, hand applique or even hand piecing do I find myself wondering why I don't do more? It surprises me every time!

I have tried to do a little hand-quilting everyday and have already completed 3 of the 9 blocks before I have to decide on a design for the border.

I’m really enjoying the rhythm of stitching and seeing this quilt transform into one with texture and interest.

Until next time...♥

Absolutely lovely! You've chosen a wonderful pattern for quilting the spools. I've only hand quilted one small project. I can't say that I loved doing it but I can say it's one of my favorites!

I have never tried hand quilting so I'll need to get some tips i.e which needles, thread and stitch size. Your quilt looks lovely, love the colours, look forward to seeing the complete quilt.
