112 in 2012 (#15)

Recently we spent a morning visiting the Gladstone Pottery Museum in Stoke-on-Trent and while I was there I caught a few more for my "112 in2012"

#110 Unfinished

#44 Souvenir or Memento - The lace maker explained that for each memorable occasion she would get a new bobbin to commemorate it.

#14 Sign

#65 Wheel

#104 Edges

Until next time....

I have so many bobbins from Mum and Grandma, I wish I knew all their stories. Lovely pictures as always Jane.

Fabulous photos! I love the bobbins -- what fun it must have been to see all of those in person!

That wonderful heritage of ours Jane. Remember Gladstone when it first opened as a museum. My school had to produce paintings of bottle ovens and we got quite good at it and these were displayed in the museum. Love going round there to visit.
