Sew into Solids – Week 4

I can understand why people love Kona solids...they are so lovely!  Unfortunately I haven't as much time to work on my Sew into Solids project this week as I would have liked, but I did get the components made for one block.

So all I can share is a simple nine patch. Hopefully I can share the whole block with you later in the week.

Don't forget to visit Katherine blog and the flickr group to see all that is going on there.

Until next time....

Good morning Jane, a few blocks is better than no piecing at all! All I have been doing is quilting, just like Dory, just keep quilting, quilting, quilting, quilting. It has been fun though to play with a few pantos.

Lookin' good Jane! That's going to be one super cute quilt -- I love the fresh, pretty colors you've chosen.

The grey looks so good next to the red - less aggressive than white or boring old cream!

thanks for visiting my blog! And thank you for the tutorial about starch basting, that is a very good idea. I alomst never did use solids before but now I might start buying them. It gives a total different effect I think. I can certainly see the beauty of them.

The best thing about the block is that it's red and white. I'm going to have a good look around at the rest of the solid projects.
