Wordless Wednesday

I thought I'd put the 50mm lens back on the camera to spice things up in the photography dept.  As the light in the evenings has been quite golden recently I thought I'd have a little walk around the garden and see what caught my eye.  On the front of my house I've got a trailing fuchsia in a basket and thought it made a perfect subject.

Here it is from a slightly different angle :o)

Until next time...

It's beautiful! The colours are just so vivid. My camera would never be able to take such a clear close-up.

You've captured that bloom perfectly!

I've so enjoyed reading through your holiday posts. Scotland is on the list of places I want to visit.

Fabulous light on the flower Jane, funny how we tend to only use favourite lenses. At the moment I'm using the 18-70mm, perhaps it's time for a change here too..?
