I can't knit...I've tried, but my fingers just won't cooperate, but the DD1 knits and if you allow me I'd like to have a proud Mama moment and share with you her latest creations.

A beautiful lace beret! Which she has been knitting since Christmas!!
This was a real accomplishment for her and it wasn't without sweat and tears!

Socks!
I'm hoping this will become a new obsession and that a pair might be made for me! :o)
(hint, hint...I know you are reading this!)
Until next time...

You have a vey talented knitter in the fam! Her socks fit perfectly and that isn't always the easiest thing to do.
You have every reason to be proud. Those are gorgeous hand knit items. How old is DD1? She is very talented. My daughter hand knit socks for herself and her dad. I keep trying to shrink Doug's socks so they would be my new socks. So far no luck! I hope your daughter knits a pair for you as well.
Love the beret! I can't knit for pants! My brain just does not get it. Well done to DD1!
You are so lucky to have a daughter who can knit!!! She makes beautiful things!!! I like her works!
Gorgeous! I also cannot get the hang of knitting, but so do admire the work of others like your dd
Well done to your daughter for persevering in the art of knitting. She has tackled some very difficult projects there and they look great.
The hat is gorgeous, as are the socks. Hope your daughter keeps it up :-)
You have every reason to be a proud mum, dd1 is very talented especially as you do not knit. Keep up with the hints it may pay off.
Very nice work! Perhaps you'll get a pair of socks for Christmas. Or Mother's Day?
Lovely work! I can see why you're proud. :)
Wow - she's good! The beret is gorgeous!! I can't knit either - maybe one of my daughters will take it up :0)
She is a very talented (and committed) knitter! Well done to you, R!
My word - that's some complicated knitting for a supposed beginner - well done DD1 you're a star!!!
Now this is fun! I love that beret and that is real accomplishment, isn't it? The stitches are luscious.
As for those socks - oh my but I love socks. I hope you might get some socks, too. Those are the BEST!!!

Oh, how lovely! You have every reason to be a proud mama, your daughter's knitting skills are enviable. Maybe if you buy the sock yarn you like and slip it into her knitting bag..... ;o)
Wow-- beautiful knitting by DD1. You're so funny -- I hope you get your socks soon!
Ooh. Love that beret! Hmm. I wonder if I'd look good in a beret... Wish I could make it. Socks... No. I've always been a disaster in sock-making.
