Okay...I'm intrigued :)
I am so impressed with the app work, I esp. like the progression of skills from top to bottom.... you are one BRAVE woman
So impressive - hope you managed to finish it this year!
Beautiful! What a lot of hand sewing! My oldest UFO is also hand sewn--it is a sampler quilt that I started over 23 years ago. Maybe I should try to finish it too.
Your applique looks amazing! I have just started applique and know enough to realize that yours is outstanding!
Jane, you asked at your post at Sew We Quilt how we would finish your UFO. Since you said you used printed fabrics to give the illusion of texture where it was too small or detailed to applique, I would carry on in that same spirit, and machine quilt where you have to get through heavy layers and hand quilt where you can provide those sensitive details. I was told there are no rules in quilting unless you are going to have it judged in a show. Follow your instincts they got your quilt done so far. Pam
first time visitor, followed you from sew we quilt. i'll be back!!!
I am glad to 'see' this as I have the calendar/pattern. A combo of machine and hand quilting would be nice.
I wish my laundry (dirty or clean) looked like this!
