Just what have I been up to in 2010? I'm just a little miffed with myself! I'm absolutely shocked to see how few things I completed in 2010..though I know I've been sewing up a storm?! This is it... 8 things..not even 8 quilts..just 8 things completed in 2010!

1. Close up Bright Zig Zag Quilt, 2. Floral Quilt close up, 3. Project Linus Baby Quilt, 4. Gathered clutch...inspired by Noodlehead

1. Sunhat, 2. Vintage Sheets Zig Zag Quilt, 3. Simple Vintage Sheet Quilt Detail, 4. Scrappy Quilt for Project Linus
Well I know I'll do better next year..in fact I suspect I'll even beat that record by February! You know why?! Because 2010 has been the year of the tops. I have been sewing up a storm of tops and flimsies and as it stands I have 8 quilts ready to be basted and quilted for Project Linus... 2011 should fair better for finishes!
Shame on me!
(Rant and pep talk to myself over) :o)
Until next time...

Your works are beautiful, Jane!!
Happy New Year :o)!
Well, they are lovely things, Jane. And if you finish all those tops next year, you will beat us all!!!!
Happy New Year.
Don't be so hard on yourself! It's not a race (I keep telling myself).
Happy New Year, Jane!
That's 8 things more than me, Jane. And all yours are beautiful.
Happy New Year to you and the family. Hope 2011 is good to you all :) x
Don't the colours of your projects look terrific when you put them all together like that. I look forward to seeing the stream of finished quilts that are going to come pouring out of your machine!
But you had 8 beautiful finishes! And like you said, now you have a huge head start on the new year! Good for you! :0)
If you are enjoying the journey, you don't need to race to the end!
Happy 2011, xka
All 8 projects are beautifully done. Lovely colour schemes and corners that meet so precisely. No shame involved at all. Looking forward to seeing the finished projects in 2011. Happy New Year.
Yes, but it is pure quality Jane. Happy New Year to you and yours. May we both be more productive/creative.
Love Shirley.x
...but what a nice tops you made!...( and I agree with Sewkalico!)
Happy and healthy new year!

Happy New Year Jane.
I think you've got lots done - don't be so hard on yourself.
It's the quality, not quantity that counts though and your projects are all wonderful. Wishing you a very happy new year.
Love your patchwork! Happy New Year~
Happy New Year! I think your 8 finishes are all wonderful! And hey 8 tops ready for quilting- wow that's a lot of sewing- you did GREAT in 2010!
So long as you have enjoyed your sewing (and I know you have!) it doesn't matter what the outcomes are! However, I'm looking forward to all the Linus tops which are in the pipeline!
They're all beautiful things! Don't be so tough on yourself!
I think 8 finishes is fabulous! Plus you had a renovation...so that counts for 100 finishes!
I think you did very well-----that is eight finishes that you didn't have in 2010. Hurray for the Project Linus quilts. Now on to 2011. BettyLou
Eight is a very respectable number and finished too. Never admit to the "started" number. That is between you and your sewing machine.
Arrr but you have taken some fairly amazing photos along the way so 8 quilts is good.
Hello Jane..what a year...they are all exceptional...please connect with me for another date wink...

Love seeing your projects. They are beautiful.
But they sure are a pretty eight!
Love everything! I can't wait to start a zig zag quilt myself!
Oh, but Jane -- they're all such beautiful projects. Remember, it's all about the quality, not the quantity. (I didn't complete many myself, so that's what I'm telling myself LOL!)
I think you are moving in the right direction which is more than some of us can say!
