It's been a good month for finishes. Yet another vintage sheet quilt is complete. This time one for the youngest daughter, affectionately known as DD2. It is a simple quilt of squares. You might remember it from here. Vintage sheets are so pretty that I feel they need very little to make them look good.

The quilting was straight lines 1/4" on each side of the seam and it was a very quick means of holding it together.

I love how it turned out and I hope DD2 enjoys several years cuddling under it!
Until next time...

Looks lovely Jane - full of individuality. I'm sure DD2 will treasure it and the time you spent on it. She's a lucky girl. Well done for finishing it.

Those vintage sheets are so pretty - this quilt shows all the pretty prints off so well. You sure are getting a lot done this fall.
Quilting both sides of the seam is a great idea! Squares look so simple until one tries to do it.
Fantastic. Soft and gentle and feminine. A quilt to use till it wears out and then some. Cherrie
