A Sweet Quilt...

My cousin recently had a baby and as you know, all babies need a quilt.  I did 16 - 12" simple curved pieced blocks using the Sharon Schamber method of Piec-lique.  Here is a link to a PDF on her site that explains the method.  I did mine drunkard's path style instead of a whole circle as I wanted more variety, but the method works the same.  All the fabrics are floral and the end result was a soft muted design that had that "Cath Kidston" feeling.  I am thrilled with how it turned out and would love to make another one to keep.  I'll just have to add it to the list!!

Oh and by the way..this is my 400th post!!  Hmmm I'm going to have to think of a way to mark the occasion!

Until next time...

Great quilt. I like the look of curved piecing but I tend to do it by hand as I find it less stressful.
Congratulations on the 400 posts by the way.
