A Closer Look...

I had a few people comment on "big stitch" quilting in my last post and I realized that the picture didn't really show off the quilting very well.  So here is a closer look.  I'm almost finished the centre portion of the quilt and then I can move into the borders.  This quilt just might get finished before the end of summer!

Until next time...

Those stitches look just gorgeous on it.

What beautiful even stitches you have! I find it tougher on large stitch than small to keep them the same size...

Nothing wrong with your quilting , gone are the days they used to say 16 sts to the inch
What gives you pleasure is the way to go , competitions are a different matter--cottonreel

Are you sure they are the big stitches? If they are 'big', heaven knows how small your 'normal' stitches must be! Very neat work, missis, very neat indead.

How beautiful. I love the colours of your fabrics. I am just learning to quilt and so it is fun for me to see all these different ideas.

I love your beautiful quilt. The quilting is lovely. I have some of those same sheets. Take a look at a vintage sheet sewing bee I'm in.
