Last weekend when the weather was perfect, Dunchurch had their annual fete. The whole family went down to wait for the parade to come down the road....even the "famous hat" :o)

The banners were out glinting in the sun...

And the parade came down the road...

A couple of years ago we attended the fete and I took an almost identical picture of some Alpacas from this shop...guess my eye is drawn to the same things!

The band played and it was a lovely afternoon out.

Until next time...

Gotta love the alpacas!! :0)
That takes me back to the fetes we had back in Cheddleton. I wonder if it is a Midlands thing?!!
You need to come to Somerset and see their Carnivals at night. They have floats pulled by lorries and they are all lit up and are a sight to behold. Amazing spectacle. The girls would love it.
Aren't Alpaca's cute?

lovely pictures - it's our fete tomorrow. Known as the fete worse than death in our house but it's nothing of the sort!
Looks like a wonderful day, love the alpacas, they are so cute.

I miss the fetes! How much fun....don't remember them having parades though - does that mean I missed something and need to go back?!
