I have no idea what the name of this flower is, but my neighbour (yes the same one's that gave me the rocket flower plant) gave me this plant a few years ago and it keeps coming back year in and year out! In case you haven't guess it, I'm not much of a gardener and if it wasn't for my kind neighbours passing plants over the fence, my garden would look pretty bare! LOL

It's beautiful!! The bugs on it are pretty interesting too. :0)
I have one that looks like that too, and I have no idea what it is either! LOL
I can just about bear another flower - but only because of your wonderful photograpy ;)
Hi , I found in my book : Scabiosa Knautia macedonica
Thanks for your beautiful pictures.
Gorgeous! I'm enjoying every flower picture, so keep'em coming. ;o)
Just noted one of the comments as I was going to say it looks like a scabious although I wouldn't know which variety. It looks lovely though and a great colour. Even the little spiders look good.
Hope you have entered the springwatch photograph competition. I shall nag until you do.

A bit late, but yes it's a Scabiosa, but as a quilter/stitcher, I'm happier with it's common name of "pincushion flower'! Much more apt don't you think...?

Just such a gorgeous pink - now that's MY kind of flower!
What a beautiful flower -- once again, your photography is wonderful!!
I am pretty sure it is a scabiosa also know as a Pin Cushion flower which is so appropriate for you!
This one looks other worldly when you get up close. That tiny aphid looks like an alien, returning to the mother ship. Lol!
I can never get enough flower pics, especially yours! Stunning, great BOM blocks back there a bit as well, gorgeous work as usual! Tracey
So pretty!
