This quilt will be for Project Linus when it is completed. I just loved how I could use strips to make the units and make such an attractive pattern. I will definitely make another zig-zag quilt to keep. It was quick to put together and very easy to assemble. For instructions follow this Link

Hi Jane,
Your quilt in progress looks really good fun and colourful. I clicked the link and it all seems easy enough to understand. Will remember it for the future.

Beautiful! I love a zig zag quilt and the strips are genius!
What a great quilt! I like the peas too, and the animals! Thanks for the link.
What a happy quilt! love it...
Whoever gets this quilt will most definitely smile!
I have made a few mini zigzag quilts but I really must try it for a child's quilt...yours is so cute! Love that pea in a pod fabric :)
It looks great!!!
The fabrics you choose make this quilt extra gorgeous (and I too love the babies in pods!)
A wonderful collaboration of color and design...love the two peas in a pod. Such sweetness. :-D You always have such pretty and interesting projects and you put a lot of thought and care into your Linus quilts, too.
Aww, this is so sweet. I really do love the peas. Thanks for highlighting that. Didn't want to miss that!!!
That's a fabulous pattern -- love the fabrics as they're all so bright and cheerful.
Great simple method to make a complex looking quilt - some kid will really love that quilt
That looks great Jane. Well done. Someone will cherish that quilt. Cute wee pea pod faces.
That's a great little quilt. I checked the link but couldn't figure out how you got DIFFERENT fabrics to stripe rather than going back to the solid. Guess I'll have to try it myself to understand it!
