A trip to the big city...

Anyone that has a teenage daughter will know the struggle to find the perfect prom dress.  Last Saturday we went to Birmingham to do just that and I'm so pleased to say we found one!  I was on a mission and as luck would have it the 4th dress was the winner.  I, unfortunately, can't show you the dress because DD1 wants it to be top secret..and her friend Miss B reads my blog!  (Hi Miss B!!)  Instead I'll share this pic of the bullring (Birmingham's main mall)

Until next time,

Fabulous shot of that famous bit of the Bullring, Jane. So glad to hear you managed to find 'the dress' - the pressure must have been huge! x

Hi! This made me laugh soooooo much, we're in the midst of 'prom' and only just bought our dress the other week....after several very, very tiring shopping trips! Still looking for the shoes though...lol! Glad to see Mums everywhere are suffering for their daughters Prom!
Take care Wendy x

Whew! Only four tries to find the perfect dress. And how fun that she wants to keep it a secret. Beautiful photo!

I made my girls their prom dresses but went shopping with my sister and niece to look for her prom dress. I am glad it only happens once. We came back with no dress. Great shot of the Bullring.

What an intriguing photo!! I can't wait to see the dress -- weren't you lucky it only took 4 to find just the right one!

Wow! You must be thrilled that you got the right dress rather quickly. That mall must be a rather fab place to shop!

Hopefully you can post a pic of your lovely girl in her prom dress sometime in the near future???

How lucky to avoid the inevitable pain and suffering when shopping for "the dress". Can't wait to see a photo of her on Prom night.
