It would seem that old man winter isn't quite done with us yet. With a forecast of more snow tomorrow, we are most likely going to have interesting school runs this week!
We had a quiet half term week and yesterday ventured out the Brixworth Country Park. The scenery was breathtaking...the fields all pristinely covered in snow.

This looks more like a scene from Canada...

Signs of spring were about..I saw lots of bright green shoots..though they might want to wait a week or two before sprouting.

As there are likely to be a few more days like this...

Until next time...

We had snow today - will it ever end!!?? Beautiful photos!
lovely photos...as always :)
we got about 7 inches yesterday, so it will be a while before we see any new growth. we need the moisture though, so no complaining here. Looks like you guys had a wonderful weekend!
There are some lovely photos: we've had snow on the ground when I woke up on Friday and today, but it all melted quickly.
That first picture could have been taken in Alberta! I don't remember there being much (if any snow) in England during winter when I was little. Maybe I just have a faulty memory though.
I'm curious - how would you rate the school system in the UK?
Wonderful photos - thanks for sharing
Spring? What's that? Ha...
Your photos look beautiful. I'm looking forward to spring but it does feel like you're wishing your life away doesn't it?
All the photos are beautiful. The last one though, I love love love. You totally captured her joy!
At the risk of repeating everyone else, your photos are just delicious, especially the one of your daughter in the snow. Precious!
Great Photos== the last is my favorite... frame it for her college graduation, a reminder that she can conquer anything....
Wow you are good with your camera! In Canada the water would be frozen. :0)
