I have been having such a good time playing and learning how to use this new lens for my camera. I just love the blurry backgrounds and the clarity of the pictures. Here is just a little sampling of the ones I've taken since Christmas. These are straight out of the camera and have not been altered in any way except for some cropping.

I'd love to learn how to do that - guess I'd need a 'real' camera first. Maybe my daughter will let me use hers. What does that say, when your kids have better equipment than you do? Hmmm...

Wow! These are great! My goal for this year is to be a better photographer. At this point I am just trying to learn to use the camera and all of it's setting. Kind of overwhelming, but kind of fun too. :)

Wow - you're doing superbly with that considering you've only had it for such a short period of time. It's a prime lens, right? I love the shallow DOF - it's something I strive for with dialling in aperture size.
I'm saving up for a new lens too - actually there are 2 I'd like, but I think the macro one has to take second place, much as I'd like it.
