A bit of sewing going on...

It's birthday season, or so it seems, and my DD2 has had a couple of friends who have recently celebrated their birthdays.  In an effort to be a bit more creative, I've made aprons for the girls and then bundled that with a cookbook, a wooden spoon and some cupcake papers.  I think there is nothing better than baking with children and whipping something sweet up.

Until next time...

Cute apron .... I see we both use the same gift ideas. I sometimes add a box of Brownie Mix to the gift - something which can baked almost right away.

What little girl wouldn't LOVE that gift bag of baking accessories! My daughter is 16 and believe it or not she still love making cookies with me :)

Thanks for visiting my blog, Jane, and entering the drawing for the Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Do you do digital scrapbooking too? How do you find the time?

love the apron...I think it is great that cooking is back "in" again with kids!

What a great gift. Personally I prefer baking without the kids, though - my kids think that THEY should be the ones to scrape out the bowl...

What a great idea....I loved cooking with my two and now have a 20 year old son who is very good in the kitchen. His one down fall is he is rather messy.

What a perfect gift! We've gotten away from doing things ourselves. Making cupcakes instead of buying them also have the gift of making a memory. Great idea!
