Whig Rose Progress



This summer I've been really enjoying the hand appliqué on this project.  The original pattern had flying geese between the blocks, but somehow that seemed too busy for my liking, so I have sewn the 4 blocks together and will use quilting to merge them as one.  I want to add more to this to make it bigger, but the exact plan hasn't come to me yet :o)

The blocks work nicely together without the flying geese...cant wait to see it finished! looks like that has kept you rather busy...you've probably mastered applique after this project :)
