Food Festival and Pictures...

This past Monday, I went along to Holdenby House in Northamptonshire to visit a Food Festival they were hosting.  I had never been there before so it was a nice excuse to get out, take some pictures, try some food and visit the grounds.  Holdenby House has a falconry and we were fortunate enough to see both the morning and afternoon falconry displays.

The DD2 found out that her arms didn't quite stretch to fit the wingspan of a Kite!

I just loved this stall of blue and white china...but was I very good and didn't buy anything.

Until next time...

Love the photo of your daughter with her arms stretched out to measure those of the Kite. Another nice day out for your family and fun photos to take us there too. Thanks Jane!

Beautiful pictures. I love the blue dishes! I have been a lurker for a while and sent Nancy Rose over to take a look at the shirt quilt. She likes to make thrifty quilts out of shirts. I have yet to try one, but it is on my list of "quilts to make someday".

What a beautiful old building. The bird is magnificent, who would have thought it had a wingspan so big! Now, I could not have been as good as you when I passed the blue and white table. That looks irresistable.

Jane, I have been so busy with my new home on the web, I've had no time for surfing. I LOVE your new banner and background! It looks just like the feelings I have, as fall approaches! And what a fabulous place to visit. ooxx`jodi
