Little by little I've been sewing together my blocks for the signature swap that Connie is hosting.
I thought the triangles all stacked ready to go looked really pretty...Sewing 60 of these blocks is taking a bit of time...signing them will too...but I have a plan ;o) Just hope it works!
Also, I wanted to let you know of a new blog. Chris (who is a fellow Rugby quilter) is a very talented lady..her quilts are so inspiring not only because she has a great eye for colour, but because she can incorporate the oddest things and make them work...just check out her BQL challenge quilt that has heat 'n bond sweetie papers!!
Until next time...

I was initially disappointed that I was too late to sign up for the siggy swap, but the thought of making 60 identical blocks has me feeling rather relieved!
That is exactly why I can't 'do' patchwork ... I simply don't have the patience. My mum is a quilter. She buys beautiful fabric, cuts it all up then sews it all back together (only in a 'different order'). I admire it enormously. Can't wait to see the finished result. x
Wow, rather you than me Jane! You must have patience! But the photo looks so pretty..
oh that's a GREAT pic!!!
a huge welcome to chris!!!
Your stacks do look lovely! Solids are always a great way to go with signature blocks. Thanks for the new link.
That looks like alot of work but it will look wonderful, look forward to seeing the end result.
Oooooo . . . I love those colors. I joined the swap and I can't wait to see your block in person!
The stack of triangles look great.
If you are interested I am collecting 12.5 inch star blocks to send to an appeal to make quilts for the Australian Bushfire victims.
Do you think any of your quilting friends would be interested? Hope you don't mind me asking.
There are details on my blog
