Friday Fun...

On Friday when the post came through the door it had that sound of something good hitting the mat...and it was. :o) I won a pattern from Rosalie that uses jelly rolls. And....

...the postman also brought the latest edition of Irish Quilting. But what made that delivery extra special was the article on page 90 about Quilting and the Internet...

...look at what the staff picks included!!!

WOW! I can't believe it!

The funny thing is that I didn't know it was going to be there and made the discovery in the car when I was waiting for my daughter to finish school. I was so giddy when I got to the playground that I was showing every mother who would listen. If they didn't think I was a bit strange before...they do now! :o)

I'm so grateful to be recognized...and to be listed with 3 other great talents as Cathi from Celtic Knots, Pink Chalk Studio and Bonnie at Quiltville is such a thrill. Thanks Irish Quilting!!

Until next time...

Do you subscribe to Irish Quilting? I have never seen it in any of my local shops and was beginning to think it wasn't available outside of Ireland.

Jane your blog is lovely for several reasons firstly of course the quilty content, your photos are great and the scrapbook style pages are beautiful. The only suprise should be that you have not been seen in print before. Liz

Hmm, now that you are famous will you still have time for an autographed copy of your publication? Congrat's, this is such fun! I love your blog, you know...you have shared some great ideas and beautiful photos as well as fun stories galore. I can see why they wanted to feature your blog. Bravo!
