Testing, Testing?

Hello?  Anybody there?  Does anyone still read this blog?  :o)

I know there is at least 39 people checking in..says so on my stats...So a BIG hello to YOU!

This time of year just so busy, what with children going back to school, me going back to work..oh and a fantastic visit from my sister from Canada.  (Hi Sis)
As a result there has been little time to sew and when I have had time, I've either been working furiously on my Irish Chain or catching up on blogs.

So how about a few pictures...Between raindrops we took my sister to Stratford-upon-Avon.

A few stones from the grave yard by the Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried.
(I love the effect of the black and white pictures)

And lastly...just as you might have given up hope of ever seeing some quilty content on here...is some sewing a did this afternoon.  I can't tell you how nice it was to do some mindless sewing on the machine...I feel back on track. :o)

Yep - I'm here! Though I admit that I was about 6 weeks behind on my blog reading. Started with well over 1100 posts and am now down to less than 100. I know - I've said this before - I'm really going to try to keep up now.

I love the pictures you've posted of all your travels! Someday, maybe, I hope, we'll head over your way for a vacation.

Bloglines says there are 79 subscribers to your blog, so I know I'm not the only one. I do read your blog but rarely comment. Keep on going.

Never went away! Haven't been to Stratford for years despite growing up in Warwickshire - in fact I'm not sure my kids have ever been - now there's an idea for a Saturday outing.

I'm here! Great pictures of Stratford, which is a great place to visit (no quilt shops, but otherwise good for brousing). Looking forward to seeing your Chinese coins finished.

Hello Jane, I still read you. I come by to check to see if anythings new--sometimes my blog list doesn't update so I miss if I don't check. How nice for you to have your sister come for a visit and such great places to take her.

Great pics--the graveyard ones are just perfect as Halloween is getting closer! I agree, sometimes just sitting down and sewing for the sake of sewing is a great way to destress.
