The Extension update!

It's all hands on deck today...just a few feet away the electrician is wiring the lights, the skirting boards are being fitted and the plaster is almost dry. One thing I've had to do is empty my fabric cupboard (as seen here) so they can lay the pipes for the heating. Doesn't look too bad all piled up on the floor... ;o)

I love seeing the progress. Isn't it great to see all your fabrics together in a pile?

That pile looks pretty good to me.

Is this your opportunity to count your stash?? If my DH saw my fabric in a big pile like that he would have a stroke at the quantity and I'd be in bigger trouble LOL

Gosh this is happening so quickly - you'll be in there stitching before you know it and isn't your fabric so neat mine is terribly scrumpled by comparison

You're going to have a lovely view of your backyard when you're finally in there sewing up a storm. Love your pile of fabrics, now if you need somewhere to store it while the mess is in progress, I'll send my address *s*

For a girl who's on a fabric diet, looks like you won't 'starve to death' in the meanwhile! The extension is coming along fabulously. Looking forward to visiting for the opening party!

Oh, how exciting! I've enjoyed seeing the progress and am delighted to see how quick it's all coming together. I bet you can hardly wait to get settled into your new space.

Wow! So you're in a mess too! Despite the scealing of area, there's still dust! I'm amazed that they still use plaster in Europe. I did read somewhere that it's making a come back in America. Sheet rock is much easier but does not have the same look. Keep well!
