Well, the title sums it up quite nicely. I couldn't think of any other way of linking this eclectic group of things that I want to share with you.
Firstly, I was one of the lucky winners from Kate's give-away. She sent me a beautiful postcard all the way from Ireland where she is on holiday. It is so pretty and has all my favourite colours and I have put it proudly on my bulletin board where I shall be inspired by it every time I walk pass. Thank you Kate!
Secondly I wanted to share with you a poem from a book (see inset) I found in the library. WARNING it is at the level of a grade-two boy...and judging by the grubby fingerprints on the edges of the pages..I suspect the book has been thumbed well by many. (I thought it was funny...shows you my level of humour!)
Lastly, I've managed to complete the last 2 blocks that go with these for the workshop I'm attending in September. I should be doing so much else at the moment, but keep getting side tracked! Hopefully I'll be more focused when the children return to school...well at least that's what I keep telling myself :o)

Funny! And yes, don't stress about getting things done while the kids are at home.
Love the poem! Sounds like Roger McGough - the postcard is pretty - I received mine too a lovely black and white one - good to get your blocks all finished with time to spare
Pretty blocks - looks like you got your mojo back after the chest infection!
Glad you like the card, Jane - and glad you aren't someone who hates pink and purple!
